Prologue - The Blue Door (Music Video)

Prologue

This track takes place during the final hours of normal life in the Iron Warrens.

The district is already run down—rusted buildings, unreliable power, and repairs that never seem to last. Nova and Calen live inside that reality by keeping their apartment steady and familiar. Their home isn’t protected because the city is safe; it’s protected because they’ve made it that way. The blue door marks that choice in a hallway most people walk past without noticing.

As the day goes on, Nova becomes certain something is wrong. She sees resonance patterns that don’t line up, signals behaving unpredictably, and long stretches of silence where there should be activity. She reports what she finds through official channels and waits for someone to respond. No one does. Her concerns are dismissed as stress or misinterpretation, and life in the city continues as usual.

Calen doesn’t understand the full scope of what Nova is seeing, but he understands her. He notices the strain and stays close, keeping routines steady and offering quiet reassurance rather than explanations. He becomes her anchor simply by being present while the pressure builds.

The song captures the moment when watching turns into decision. Nothing has broken yet. The city is still intact. But Nova has already decided what she will do next. The door is painted. The apartment is secured. The last ordinary moments are allowed to finish. The city remains unchanged—but the line has been drawn.
