The next, the world turned to silver fractals and shattered glass. She reached for him. Their fingers slipped apart. And then she was falling through dimensions, weightless and terrified, as the Veil tore her from everything she'd ever known.She woke in a twisted reflection of Hollowtown—familiar but wrong. She can see their apartment. She can see Calen searching for her. She can watch him grieve.But she can't touch anything. Can't speak to him.
