Intro: The Infestation
By Quietus · Folk Metal · From the album The Piper Of Hamelin
(Intro. A town under the terror of rats.)
Cursed…
vermin swarming…
Beneath the walls…
beneath the wood…
beneath the streets of this town…
Claiming it as their own…
They bred…
in shadow…
in silence…
in numbers without end…
Teeth in the grain…
eyes in the dark…
Feasting on grain,
choking the sewers—
A crawling plague within the dark
Scratching… gnawing… ever-growing
An army of fur…
An army of filth…
An insatiable hunger
No flame, no trap, no prayer
Could cleanse the breathing mass
We felt them first…
beneath the floor…
Gnawing through timber,
infesting the stores
Thousands of bodies,
one ravenous intent
They multiply…
they do not stop…
Oh…
They are already inside.
