Killed the Sun God

By Cyberfoxes · Industrial Metal

Sun-God Raw is a dark myth turned into a warning label.

This track takes the ancient power of Ra and drags it into the modern age, where temples are replaced by towers, prayer by power grids, and gods by machines we pretend we control. The sun still burns, but its meaning has been stripped, repackaged, and sold back to us as progress.

Lyrically, it sits in that uncomfortable space between mythology and technology, asking whether we replaced faith with science, or just renamed the same hunger. The chorus hits like a ritual chant for a world that killed its gods and kept the fire. There’s no nostalgia here, only consequences.

Sonically, it’s heavy, cinematic, and relentless, built to feel ancient and futuristic at the same time. Think collapsing temples, humming reactors, and a sunrise that no longer belongs to anyone.

This isn’t a song about the past.

It’s about what happens when you steal the sun and call it innovation.

If you like your music dark, mythic, and mildly accusatory, welcome home.
