SUBJECT: SKYBENDER PHENOMENON

DESIGNATION: EST

Across early civilizations, the sky is described not as empty space but as a structure that can be crossed, opened, or bent. Ancient texts repeatedly reference movement from one location in the sky to another without traversing the space between, implying manipulation rather than travel. These descriptions predate astronomy, organized religion, and mechanical flight, yet use route-based and operational language, suggesting degraded memory of a lost capability rather than pure symbolism.

The SkyBender hypothesis proposes that an advanced non-human intelligence periodically returns to Earth and enforces a civilizational reset. This reset removes infrastructure and institutional knowledge while leaving biological populations intact. Survivors retain fragmented accounts describing light behaving incorrectly, overwhelming noise, ground deformation, and the sky itself changing state. Over time, these accounts collapse into myth, but the core detail remains consistent: the sky was altered, and civilization ended. AND THEY ARE 2500 YEARS LATE!!
