Nothing Else but Bone
By Muttallica · Metal
Muttallica's frontman, the existentialist golden retriever, returns with their next single about a loyal dog searching for his long buried and forgotten bone. The saddest song about a buried treat you've ever heard.
MUTTALLICA:
"Nothing Else But Bone" 🦴🐕🦺🌙
[Verse 1]
So deep, beneath the yard
Buried where the soil is hard
Forever sniffing where I hid it last
With nothing else but bone..
Never sniffed the world this way
Digging holes through the day
All these scents, they lead the way
With nothing else but bone
[Verse 2]
I seek to find it in the garden
I forgot where it was hidden
Just a tennis ball to chew
With nothing else but bone
[Chorus]
The bone I seek and find in the dirt
Chasing dreams that never hurt
Sniffing out what I am worth
With nothing else but bone
[Pre-Chorus]
Never cared for what the humans do
Never cared for that taunting meow
But I feel it... I KNOW!
[Guitar Solo]
[Chorus]
So close, right beneath the clay
I can smell it from miles away
Forever digging where it lay
With nothing else but bone
[Bridge]
Never cared for what they say (Get off the sofa!)
Never cared for games they play (Fetch! Fetch! Fetch!)
Never cared for what they know
I only care about my sweet bone..
Humans never understand me...
But I still need to know...
YEAH, YEAH!
[Final Chorus]
So close, right beneath the clay
I can smell it from miles away
Forever digging where it lay
With nothing else but bone
Forever trusting in our nose..
But I still need to know..
Nothing...
Else
But
Bone
