Seven Sundays in Hell
By Derek Bowes · Thrash Metal
I wrote this one to trap the seven stages of grief inside a metal hellscape. Every Sunday's another cycle through denial, rage, bargaining, despair, acceptance, rebellion, and finally damnation—and there's no way out. The imagery gets darker with each verse: molten churches, burning angels, holy water turning to liquid metal. The bridge is the heartbeat of the song—each stage of psychological collapse gets growled out like you're living it, not just reading about it. It's relentless, it's circular, it's the feeling of being caught in something bigger than yourself with no escape. Musically, it's pure thrash—blistering solos, heavy riffs, aggressive from start to finish. No mercy, no mercy, no mercy.
