He sought the secret of eternity.

In the darkness of his forgotten laboratory, beneath the glow of the crucible and the whisper of ancient formulas, an alchemist pursued the impossible — the Philosopher’s Stone, the power to transmute death itself.

He bound the light. He chased the sun. He found the gold.

But immortality has a price.

Those he loved became memories. Their voices faded into ghosts, while he remained — untouched by time, imprisoned within a body that could no longer die and a heart that could no longer feel.
