Sickness
By Mundi Metallum · Melodic Death Metal
The inspiration for the lyrics to this song comes from a colleague at work, as he suffered and went through a very insidious illness, which unfortunately he still hasn’t fully recovered from to this day and continues to experience pain because of it.
Originally, the lyrics were meant for a Nu metal song, but given the treacherous nature of the illness and the image I created, I decided to make the song darker, along with my depiction of the monster, that lurks, waiting for any mistake in life so it can feed off it and continue to grow.
This song is in the melodic death-metal, but it also features elements of industrial metal.
