This is a classic cover of a maritime folk tale (a variation of "The Whalefish" or "The Whaler's Song") that depicts the grueling and perilous life of a whaling crew. It tells the story of the Billy o' Tea and its struggle to capture a massive whale, highlighting the captain's dedication to the "whaler's creed" and the long, exhausting days spent at sea waiting for the "Wellerman" (the relief ship) to bring supplies and take them home.
