Sunk'n Treasure

By Maiden Voyage · Folk Metal · From the album Future's Past

This song tells the story of a lone survivor discovering the true "treasure" isn’t gold or jewels, but the memories and stories of those lost at sea. It emphasizes that the ocean holds more valuable riches than material wealth, and ultimately, the narrator finds peace and belonging by embracing their connection to the sea and its history. The final verse is about finding greater richness in the tales of the deceased than in any physical fortune.
