Libertine Joker is a theatrical metal project created by Mattias Lasher, built around the collision of modern metalcore, industrial aggression, cinematic horror, dark humor, and genre experimentation.
Lasher writes the lyrics, develops the concepts, characters, stories, and creative direction behind the project, while using AI-assisted music production to bring that vision to life. Rather than staying inside a single metal formula, Libertine Joker treats every song like another scene in a much larger show—moving between crushing breakdowns, melodic hooks, electronic textures, theatrical atmosphere, and unexpected genre combinations.
At the center of the project is the Libertine Joker universe: a constantly expanding world of music, characters, visual storytelling, and live-performance concepts built around controlled chaos, theatricality, and one unmistakable grin.
