Sweet Destruction

By Derek Bowes ยท Metal

Late-night cravings, morning regret, repeat. This is the cycle - knowing it's killing you but reaching for it anyway. Not heroin, not alcohol - just sugar, salt, and self-destruction one bite at a time.

Thrash metal mirrors the chaos: relentless double bass, shred solo, vocals that match the internal battle. "Mirror shows a stranger" - that moment when you don't recognize what you've become. "Rolling loaded dice with my own life" - every meal is a gamble.

The oxymoron says it all: it's sweet going down, destruction coming up. We all dance with this pain.
