Nocturnal Frenzy - Instrumental

By Derek Bowes ยท Neoclassical Metal

"Nocturnal Frenzy" is a blistering, high-speed instrumental in the key of A Harmonic Minor. It's a pure, unfiltered showcase of neoclassical shred guitar, with the lead instrument unleashing a torrent of 160-BPM sweep arpeggios and lightning-fast scalar runs for three solid minutes. In a sharp, unexpected turn, the metal assault cuts off at 3:05, giving way to a somber, classical-style piano epilogue. If you worship at the altar of Yngwie Malmsteen or enjoy the technical etudes of players like Vinnie Moore and Tony MacAlpine, this is for you.
