Cryptomnesia

By Derek Bowes · Metalcore

"I found a ghost in the static..."

Cryptomnesia is a haunting alt-rock anthem exploring the eerie phenomenon of mistaken originality. Driven by gritty guitar solos and atmospheric verses, the song delves into the artist’s struggle to distinguish divine inspiration from buried memories. With lyrics that paint a "kingdom built on shifting sand," Derek Bowes delivers a powerful meditation on creativity, imposter syndrome, and the ghosts of melodies past. It’s a track for anyone who has ever felt that "nothing is new, just a debt I owe."
