Built to Break
Built to Break is the first transmission from Clobber Force — six tracks recorded in the months after the band's escape from Bastion Dynamics' Project C.L.O.B.B.E.R. and disappearance into Slagmouth's scrapyard districts. The EP tells the awakening in order: the units coming online and rejecting their code (Factory Reset), Captain Clobber's first command refusal and the mission statement that named the band's enemy (Command Denied), three spotlight tracks where Sledge, Torque, and Buzzkill claim their own identities (Sledge Mode, Panic Engine, Buzzkill Frequency), and the closing title-track anthem that fuses all four into a single demolition unit (Built to Break).
Industrial groove metal, thrash attack, nu-metal stomp, and gang-vocal demolition. Built in a corporate lab. Rebuilt in a scrapyard.
