Zombie Raid

By ARCAIDE Arrangements · Thrash Metal · From the album Arcade Onslaught

(Zombie Raid) Zombie Raid is the twenty first song off Arcade Onslaught, a double album filled with songs with lyrics inspired by old school coin-op arcade games. The song was inspired by the 1995 American Sammy coin-op arcade shooter, "Zombie Raid".

Thank you for listening. I hope you enjoy!

LYRICS:

In the year of plague and rust, 1890’s ash,

A cursed arcade pulses with spectral flash.

Silver bullets scream through cathedral haze,

As pixelated corpses rise in a blaze.

Rotten priests chant in binary tongues,

Their sermons stitched from necrotic lungs.

The light gun trembles in my mortal hand—

A relic forged to cleanse this haunted land.

Cryptstorm!

Zombie Raid!

Arcade of death, where the damned are played!

Trigger the wrath, let the undead fade—

In pixel fire, their souls are flayed!

Through catacombs of glitch and gore,

I blast through sprites that thirst for war.

Ghoul butchers, demon nuns,

Their laughter echoes from silicon lungs.

The cabinet hums with infernal breath,

A lightgun pact with digital death.

Insert coin—embrace the curse,

This game was coded in Hell’s own verse.

Blood on the screen, score climbing high,

Each kill a hymn, each scream a cry.

No continues, no escape,

Just rage and ruin in 16-bit shape.

Shoot the eyes, decapitate!

Reload the wrath, retaliate!

Boss fight looms, a stitched-up priest—

His heart a virus, his soul deceased!

Cryptstorm!

Zombie Raid!

Arcade of death, where legends are made!

Trigger the wrath, let the undead fade—

In pixel fire, their souls are flayed!

Game over? Never.

The raid goes on forever.

In every arcade, in every grave—

Zombie Raid shall rise again!
