(Primal Rage) Rage of the Forgotten - From the Human Perspective is the twentieth song off Arcade Onslaught, a double album filled with songs with lyrics inspired by old school coin-op arcade games. The song was inspired by the 1994 Atari coin-op arcade fighter, "Primal Rage"... but written from the perspective of one of the tiny little human characters in the game that run around at the monsters feet...

I was born in shadow, beneath the gods’ domain
Where beasts of fury battle, and blood becomes the rain
They call us mere spectators, dust beneath their feet
But I’ve seen the fire in Talon’s eyes — and I will not retreat
We chant, we cheer, we cower — but never do we fight
Yet deep within this mortal shell, a storm ignites tonight
Rage of the forgotten, thunder in my veins
