Buried in pixels, 1986’s scream

Exidy’s nightmare, a raster-born dream

Graveyard stage, the final descent

Where flesh is currency and torment is rent

Half-buried maiden, twitching in the loam

Shoot her torso—strip the skin from bone

Clothes disintegrate, pixel by pixel

Topless and screaming, her fate is dismal

Hands erupt from the cursed ground

Clutching at nothing, no peace to be found

Bats swarm the sky in monochrome flight

Feasting on corpses in the neon night

Optical gun in hand, I make my stand

Raster screams in mono sound

Blood-red pixels flood the ground

A cart of limbs, dragged by the dead

Shoot the hauler—he flees, but not bled

He returns again, a loop of decay

Hauling butchered meat through the cabinet’s play

No redemption, no salvation

Only bonus rounds of desecration

Upright monolith, black as the tomb
