"The Vessel Breaks" For the first time, the human side of the killer surfaces. Fleeting lucidity reveals horror at what has been done — but the grip of the possessing entity grows stronger with each act. This track captures the host’s torment: the battle between his own will and the invasive force within, his sanity splintering as the entity tightens control.

I stir… yet not alone.

Something moves behind my eyes.

It shapes the visions I never dreamed,

And calls without a voice.

I once knew the weight of my own hands,

The quiet measure of each breath.

Now they move beyond my will,

Carving paths I never chose.

Scratch marks run across the wall,

Shapes I don't remember drawing.

Each night I walk a half-made world,

And wake with blood beneath my nails.

It wears me from core to skin.

It stretches flesh around its frame.

I feel the seams… begin to tear.

The vessel cracks, the fissures spread,

And something black comes seeping through.

Yet still it cuts and carries me.

I try to speak — the words contort,

Twisted into shapes I've never known.

The mirror shows my face,

But something moves a breath behind.

It names itself in silence,

Until I swear they've always been mine.

I defy (It bends my will!)

I scream out (It claims my voice!)

I'm fading away (It fills my soul!)

It wears me from spine to crown.

The seams are gone — the shape remade.

The vessel cracks I cannot hold

Its visions mine, its hunger mine.
