Father TIME

By PROJECT MONROE · Djent · From the album MYTHICAL NIGHTMARES

**(Intro -

Father Time, cloaked in decay

Scythe of entropy, swinging your way

No mercy in your endless march

Aging flesh to rot, torch the arch

**(Verse 1)**

Wrinkles carve like knives into skin

Slicing deep, exposing yellow fat within

Veins collapse, bursting blue-black floods

Bones brittle-shatter, grinding into dust

Accelerate the cellular rot

Tumors erupt, pus-oozing malignant clots

Heart fibrillates, chambers rip apart

Blood sprays arterial, drowning the heart

Eyes liquefy in sockets, vitreous leaks gray

Lungs collapse in frothy hemorrhagic decay

**(Chorus)**

Father Time kills!

Reaps your soul with relentless thrill!

Aging torment, brutal end

Flesh dissolves, no defend!

Chrono-Reaper! Harvest the weak!

Time's gore feast, hear the bleak!

**(Verse 2)**

Speed the clock, premature grave

Organs liquefy, no one to save

Skin sloughs off in wet, necrotic sheets

Revealing raw muscle, dripping in beats

Maggots hatch early, burrow through meat

Brain atrophies, gray matter melts like heat

Dementia gnaws synapses, sparks misfire and scream

Joints fuse in agony, cartilage bursts at the seam

**(Verse 3)**

Teeth shatter black, roots split and bleed

Gums ulcerate, festering pus-seed

Hair falls in clumps, scalp splits and weeps

Liver spots burst, oozing tar-like creeps

Prostate balloons, ruptures in burning flood

Kidneys necrotize, urine turns to blood

Bowels prolapse, intestines spill in shit

Incontinence gushes, steaming and thick

**(Verse 4)**

Spine compresses, vertebrae crack and grind

Discs herniate, nerves severed, paralyzed behind

Nerves misfire, lightning pain explodes

Parkinson’s shakes rip muscles from bone

Immune system dies, sepsis floods veins

Pneumonia chokes lungs with blood-phlegm chains

Bedsores tunnel deep, exposing raw bone

Maggots feast inside while you die alone

**[Pre-Solo Breakdown -

Time... grinds... your... bones... to... dust...

Flesh... peels... in... eternal... rust...

**[Main Breakdown -

Time warps your corpse before the tomb

Rapid aging, sealed in doom

Muscles liquefy to rancid strands

Skeletal frame in death's cold hands

Alzheimer's melts brain to sludge explode

Senility's blade, gray matter overload

Vessels burst, cranial pressure flood

Skull cracks open, spilling coagulated blood

**(Chorus -

Father Time kills!

Reaps your soul with relentless thrill!

Aging torment, brutal end

Flesh dissolves, no defend!

Chrono-Reaper! Harvest the weak!

Time's gore feast, hear the bleak!

**(Bridge -

No escape from the hourglass sands

Grinding lives in his skeletal hands

From cradle to crypt, he twists the knife

Eternal killer, stealer of life

**(Outro -

Father Time... eternal slaughter...

Your body betrays, quarter after quarter...

Rot... Liquefy... Explode... Die...

Time devours all!
