The Tragedy of Pripyat

By ORGANize · Progressive Metal · From the album History in Frame

The Soviet Union, the 26th of April 1986.

A routine testing operation at nuclear Powerplant Chernobyl went terribly wrong that night, a flawed nuclear reactor design couldn't keep the temperature of the system down.

A meltdown, followed by an explosion.

The radioactive matter that was released ended up affecting, not only the Soviet Union, but the entirety of Europe.

It's the worst nuclear disaster in history.
