A Lovas

By Kitharam · Melodic Death Metal

A song woven with ancient spirits, exploring the truth that—regardless of what we believe or to whom we pray—the same fate awaits us all at the end of our lives.

This is a song in Hungarian; here is the English translation:

Kitharam - The Horseman

The force of nature's breath,

An unquenchable desire,

For the eternal truth,

Of justice, pure and higher.

Black shadows are trotting

Across the rich meadow,

Beneath our setting sun,

In a starry sky's shadow.

Ancestors are galloping

Where your dream is sought,

The dead deed, ice-cold,

In desires enwrought.

A thought that has grown great

Is climbing with a thunder,

Up to the mountain peak

That sorrow raised up yonder.

Living like a shooting star,

Fading out to shine anew,

The feeling of memory,

Days that slipped from view.

The hard-fought, savage battle

Grows sweet in memory's grace,

Until the weary warrior

Slips down from his saddle's place.

Just like the morning dew

That strikes the quiet night,

Death proudly stays behind

In his saddle, holding tight.
