East End Unsettled
By Incubria
East End Unsettled is a conceptual journey into the dark heart of Victorian London’s Whitechapel district during the autumn of 1888. Rather than focusing on the myth of Jack the Ripper, the album explores the fear, poverty, social decay, media frenzy, and institutional failure that transformed an entire neighborhood into the center of one of history’s greatest unsolved mysteries.
Blending avant-garde metal, industrial soundscapes, progressive structures, and cinematic atmospheres, Incubria tells the story through the eyes of detectives, journalists, ordinary citizens, and the city itself. Each track captures a different perspective, building an immersive narrative where paranoia spreads faster than truth and every shadow hides another unanswered question.
East End Unsettled is not a celebration of a killer—it is a portrait of a city haunted by fear.
