Sanctum of Broken Oaths
By Ajin Khan · Melodic Death Metal · From the album The Godless Heirs
This is the **9th track** of the **third** album **The Godless Heirs** by **Ajin Khan**
Lyrics:
Beneath the altar’s bleeding stone
I hear the voices, not my own
A choir drowned in hollow cries
Their prayers are ash, their gods have died
Sworn in fire, sworn in chains
Every vow dissolves in flames
Sanctum of broken oaths — a temple in ruin
Carved in betrayal, the silence is human
Where shadows inherit the crowns of the lost
The faithless arise, whatever the cost
The scriptures burn, the ink runs black
No savior here, no turning back
Anointed lies, a poisoned tongue
The sanctum weeps for what’s undone
Raise the chalice — bleed it dry
Name the oath — and let it die
Sanctum of broken oaths — a temple in ruin
Carved in betrayal, the silence is human
Where shadows inherit the crowns of the lost
The faithless arise, whatever the cost.
